‘Yes,’ then ‘no’

Nice to hear that Congress finally agreed on one thing: plastic guns must be outlawed. But when Sen. Charles Schumer suggested, given the minds of criminals, it would be a good idea to make sure there is always unremovable metal on any plastic weapon (so they cannot get past metal detectors), his Republican colleagues decided that was going too far. Maybe the fact that they voted “yes” on something was a shock to the “no” party, and they simply couldn’t do it again?
