A “Mocktails” contest at San Luis Obispo's Thursday night Farmers Market will kick off the #RUOK? Campaign to urge drivers not to drink.

Local bartenders will mix non-alcoholic cocktails, to be judged by San Luis Obispo police Chief Stephen Gesell, SLO Safe Ride CEO Mike Linn and Share SLO Street Team members Anouk Novy and Melissa Jenna Godsey.

The campaign is a collaboration between the Cal Poly chapter of Friday Night Live, San Luis Obispo County Behavioral Health’s Friday Night Live, and the DUI Coalition of local law enforcement agencies, according to a news release.

Judging will take place at a booth set up near the intersection of Broad and Higuera streets. The Farmers Market begins at 6 p.m.
