The Poly Plant Shop at Cal Poly has launched its annual poinsettia sale with 2,800 plants in more than 30 varieties and colors. The sale is scheduled to continue through mid December.

The poinsettias are grown by students in the university’s Poinsettia Agriculture Enterprise Project. This year’s plants come in the traditional flower colors of red and white, plus more unusual hues of pink, orange, marble, maroon and speckled leaves. Plants sizes range from four-inch pots to 4-foot-tall plants, with prices from $5 to $55.

Plants are available at the Plant Shop Holiday Open House on Friday and at the Poinsettia Open House on Saturday and Dec. 14. The open house hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The shop is on Via Carta Road on campus and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Take the Highland Drive Entrance, turn left on Via Carta Road and go to the top of the hill. For information, call the Poly Plant Shop at 756-1106 or visit www.polyplantshop.com.
