Paso Robles tops Morro Bay in boys soccer

Bearcats win 4-1 in season opener for both teams

Paso Robles High’s boys soccer team beat Morro Bay 4-1 on Monday in the season opener for both teams.

The Pirates kept the game close in the first half. The host Bearcats led 1-0 at intermission before scoring in three goals in the second half.

Morro Bay goalkeeper Oscar Loeza had 10 saves. Joel Wilkie scored the Pirates’ only goal, assisted by Daniel Ramirez.
