Atascadero to host lighting ceremony

November 29, 2013

The city of Atascadero will hold its Holiday Lighting Ceremony in the Sunken Gardens on Dec. 6.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for the recently restored outdoor fountains, and then city officials will count down the lighting of the fountains and trees in front of the City Administration Building, a news release said.

The event will include performances by the Atascadero Community Band and the Atascadero High School Show and Concert choirs, visits with Santa in the Rotunda, face painting, hot chocolate and guided tours of the recently reopened City Administration Building.
