Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band will bring some country twang to next year’s California Mid-State Fair, officials announced Wednesday.

The two acts join a lineup that includes country rocker Kid Rock and classic rock bands Doobie Brothers, Journey and Steve Miller Band.

When Zac Brown Band performs July 16, it will be the group’s second appearance at the Paso Robles Event Center, having performed there in 2012. Known for the songs “Chicken Fried,” “Colder Weather” and “Knee Deep,” the Grammy Award-winning group has released three platinum-selling albums; its collaboration with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, “The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1,” comes out Dec. 10.

Grammy-winner Lady Antebellum, which played the fair in 2010 and 2011, will perform there again July 22. The trio’s hits include “I Run to You,” “Just a Kiss” and “Need You Now.”

Admission to the Lady Antebellum concert is $46 to $121; Zac Brown Band tickets cost $56 to $131. Both shows will go on sale at a to-be-determined date.

The California Mid-State Fair runs July 16-27, 2014, at the Paso Robles Event Center, 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles. For information, call 239-0655 or visit
