Here is this weeks weather forecast by PG&E meteorologist John Lindsey.
This mornings gentle to moderate (8- to 18-mph) and at times gusty Santa Lucia (offshore) will produce clear, dry and cool weather. However, mild autumn temperatures are on tap this afternoon with most San Luis Obispo County locations reaching the low 70s. Little change in this weather pattern is expected through Tuesday.
A weak 1,001-millibar low-pressure system will approach the California coast Wednesday and stall, bringing only increasing clouds and southeasterly winds to the coastal areas.
On Thanksgiving Day, this system is expected to drift south along the shore and progress farther inland , bringing rain showers across the Central Coast. Snow levels are expected to remain above 5,000 feet, although at this point little snow is anticipated even at the higher elevations.
A few scattered rain showers are expected Friday morning and afternoon, ending by Friday night. Total rainfall amounts are expected to range between 0.10 and 0.50 inches.
Fair and dry weather is forecast Friday night through Sunday with breezy Santa Lucia winds possible.
