A public forum to discuss Measure Y, San Luis Obispo’s half-cent sales tax increase, will be held Thursday night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ludwick Community Center.

City staff will outline how the tax money has been spent in the last year. The public will be asked to share how they would like the money to be used in the future.

The tax increase, which sunsets in April 2015, brings more than $5 million annually to city coffers.

The Ludwick Community Center is at 864 Santa Rosa St. in San Luis Obispo. For more information, call 781-7112.
