Dominic Tartaglia is new executive director of SLO Downtown Association

The San Luis Obispo Downtown Association has chosen former Board of Directors President Dominic Tartaglia as its new executive director.

Tartaglia will take over from current director Deborah Cash, who is retiring Dec. 31.

Tartaglia is a lifelong San Luis Obispo resident and a partner and broker associate at Tartaglia Realty in downtown San Luis Obispo. He was also named one of The Tribune’s Top 20 under 40 in 2010 for his work with Tartaglia Realty and on local Rotaract boards.

Tartaglia has volunteered with the Downtown Association for several years, serving on the Board of Directors, Thursday Night Promotions committee, Transient Issues Task Force and Annual Holiday Parade volunteer group.

Tartaglia will take over Jan. 2, 2014.
