Cal Poly volleyball falls 3-0 to Northridge

Cal State Northridge’s volleyball team swept Cal Poly 25-13, 25-15, 25-15 on Thursday in Northridge. 

Casey Hinger led the Matadors, who are ranked No. 21 in the coaches poll, with nine kills and six digs and hit .500. Natalie Allen had six kills and digs, and Sydney Gedryn had 30 assists, four kills and nine digs for first-place Cal State Northridge (22-4, 12-1 Big West Conference).

Taylor Gruenewald had six kills, and Megan McConnell had six kills and five digs for Cal Poly (10-14, 4-7), who only led briefly in the third set. Shannon Garrett had 12 assists, and Kate Walters had 10 digs.
