After the holiday

The Labor Day holiday's over, and Leroy Fauscet of San Luis Obispo, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1766, puts more than 150 American flags into storage in the Veterans' Memorial Building.

Though this photo was made after Labor Day in 1977, the symbolism and story fits Veterans Day as well.

Active service does not always end with discharge from the military.

Thanks to the veterans out there who have served and are serving.
