Festival Mozaic adds three people to board of directors

Festival Mozaic has elected three new members to its board of directors: Lauren Bandari, Susan Branche Poteet and Dennis Schneider.

Bandari is executive director of the Jewish Community Center of SLO and serves on the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce’s Diversity Committee, as well as the Anti-Defamation League Committee, according to a news release.

Branche Poteet moved to the Central Coast from New Orleans where she worked with the Army Corps of Engineers building the Hurricane Protection System. She serves on the board of directors for the San Luis Obispo County Public Library Foundation and for RISE, previously the North County Women’s Shelter and SARP.

Schneider is president of forensic engineering consulting firm Biokinetic Engineering Inc. He previously served as a faculty member at the University of California San Diego medical school department of surgery.

Other directors are Steve Bland, president; Diane Moroski, Realtor, past president; John Doyle, The Spice Hunter, treasurer; Mike Ritter, retired cable television executive; secretary; Jacqueline Frederick, attorney; John Gilbert, medical industry consultant; Warren Jensen, retired county counsel; Jaime Lewis, freelance writer; Kathleen Schroeder, Realtor; and Bern Singsen, retired physician.
