Arroyo Grande leads 10 local teams selected for girls volleyball playoffs

PAC 7 champion Eagles will host Rowland in Division 2AA playoffs Tuesday

Arroyo Grande High and nine other local teams were selected for the CIF-Southern Section girls volleyball playoffs Saturday.

The PAC 7 champion Eagles host Rowland in the Division 2AA playoffs at 6 p.m.  Tuesday. All other matches involving local teams will start at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The No. 2 PAC 7 team, Atascadero, hosts Alta Loma, and San Luis Obispo, the No. 4 PAC 7 team, is at North Torrance.

Righetti, the third-place team from the PAC 7, will open the playoffs at South Torrance.

In the Division 3A playoffs, the No. 2 team from the Los Padres League, Templeton, hosts Schurr. The No. 3 team, Nipomo, travels to El Monte. The No. 4 team, Morro Bay, travels to Gabrielino.

Santa Ynez, the LPL champ, opens against Rosemead.

In the Division 4AA playoffs, Mission Prep travels to St. Monica Catholic.

The No. 1 seed in the Coast Valley League, Coastal Christian, has a first-round bye in the Division 5AA playoffs and will play Thursday.

On Tuesday, Coast Union hosts Upland Christian, and North County Christian travels to Alverno.
