End daylight saving

NipomoNovember 6, 2013

Once again we are subjected to the tyranny of time change.

By every objective standard, there is no value (economic, social or energy) to this exercise. In fact, the process has been shown by unimpeachable studies to increase energy consumption.

These laws were passed by uninformed politicians who “wanted to do something” to prove their dedication to energy conservation (abetted by the recreation industry, which anticipated a windfall from evening sport activities).

The economic and social impact of this process is undeniable. It is time to acknowledge its idiocy and eliminate it.
