Paso Robles police are asking for the public’s help to find four women suspected of being involved in stealing cash from a Creston Road store Tuesday afternoon.

The theft occurred at about 1:05 p.m., when two women entered the store and two others stayed outside the El Korita Store in the 1400 block of Creston Road, according to a news release from the Paso Robles Police Department.

While one woman distracted the store clerk, another took cash from the front counter area before both women left the store, joining the women outside and leaving in a full-size dark SUV driven by a man, according to police.

No one was injured during the alleged theft, and no weapons were mentioned or seen, police said. The amount of money stolen is still being determined.

The two women who entered the store were described as 50 to 60 years old, and the two women outside were described as in their 20s.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (805) 549-STOP or submit an anonymous tip on the Crime Stoppers website, www.slotips.org. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
