Rep. Lois Capps will visit three Arroyo Grande greenhouses on Wednesday.

Capps, D-Santa Barbara, plans to tour Greenheart Farms, Ball Tagawa Growers and Native Sons. All three are members of the Central Coast Greenhouse Growers Association, which represents about 17 nursery businesses in the Arroyo Grande, Nipomo and Santa Maria area.

In a news release, Capps said she’s looking forward to talking to the business owners about the needs of local farmers.

“The agricultural community is the backbone of our economy on the Central Coast,” the congresswoman said.
