Mitch Massey joins resource center for nonprofits

Mitch Massey has been hired as the new chief opportunities officer for Spokes, a resource center for nonprofit organizations on the Central Coast. In this role he will enhance opportunities for businesses.

“Mitch’s strong background and leadership experience in marketing, fundraising and community partnerships will be valuable to us as we seek to expand awareness of our programs,’’ according to Lesley Santos Dierks, chief executive officer of SPOKES, in a news release.

Before assuming the job, Massey was director of development and community partnerships for Operation COY and senior vice president, sales and marketing, for Heritage Oaks Bank.
