A modest pool-posal

Los OsosNovember 3, 2013

Regarding water leakages, potential damage and high repair costs, picture this: the Hearst Castle Neptune Pool emptied of its water and converted into an enchanting patio garden complete with tile-friendly chairs for all to step down into to enjoy a more intimate view of the Roman columns, statues and majestic mountain tops in the distance.

For those special annual evening events, perhaps an elegant dance floor complete with live classical music.

There must be a Julia Morgan out there somewhere who could transform this lovely treasure from a “don’t touch, just look” pool to an unforgettable, hands-on experience, and at half the cost to boot.
