Since I have Medicare and a policy that serves as a supplement to Medicare, I have not been too concerned about the current uproar about Obamacare.
However, on a recent trip to Canada I did ask my relatives how they liked their national health care. Everybody I asked said it was great, and they are very happy with it. There just does not seem to be any problems with Canadian health care laws.
That being the case, I am wondering why we are having such an uproar here about national health care for Americans, and why so many Americans are in a snit about it. In a computer search for world nations which offer health care I found a long list. The British have it, the Canadians have it, the French, the Germans, the Chinese, the Mexicans, etc., etc. Most other major nations of the world have it. Why not the United States?
In the U.S., when there is a big uproar in Washington, it is usually because big money is involved. Medicine here is Big Business! Maybe that is why Congress is in an uproar?
