Something useful

CayucosOctober 21, 2013

Let’s forgive ourselves for mistaken assumptions and do something useful with that idle acre in front of the Cayucos Cemetery. Get rid of that “temporary” dog run — dog owners should own backyards. Walk the dogs under the pine trees on the other side of the street — the owner won’t mind. Then bring in some topsoil and make a dozen or so individual gardens for the local green-thumbed to grow veggies.

Water can be rationed fairly and prizes given for the best gardens.

Or we can just wait and let the weeds take over.
