Cuesta College’s beginning auto paint students are painting 70 pumpkins to raise money to enter the national SkillsUSA Championships competition.

The students must win a gold medal in a regional competition to move to the national level.

The pumpkins come in a variety of brilliant metallic hues and can be purchased through Halloween. For information, call instructor Ron McDonald at 546-3100, ext. 2689.
