Templeton football team falls to Cabrillo

Jordan Bernal threw for two touchdowns while completing 11 of 21 passes for 202 yards, but it wasn’t enough to lift Templeton High past Cabrillo, which won 48-14 on Friday night in a Los Padres League football game. 

The Eagles (1-7) also got 139 receiving yards from Avery Shannon, 

including a 35-yard touchdown reception, and Scott Rigdon had a 26-yard touchdown catch. 

Christian Hauser rushed for 46 yards on 13 carries to lead Templeton, which yielded 399 rushing yards to Cabrillo.
