A second public workshop on a major housing development proposed for Paso Robles' southeast corner is planned for 7 p.m. Oct. 29.
The City Council and the public will review a long-discussed conceptual site plan for the Beechwood project. The project, which originally had 674 housing units allowed in the city's master plan for growth, is now proposing 1,011 new residences and 3 to 5 acres of commercial development off Creston Road and Beechwood Drive.
The first public workshop occurred Oct. 8 with the citys Planning Commission.
The city's Planning Commission and City Council have not yet made their final recommendations on the project, which remains in the community review stage.
Written reports on the project are available for public review at the citys website, www.prcity.com.
The meeting will be held at the Paso Robles Library Conference Room/City Council Chambers at 1000 Spring St.
