A critically acclaimed pioneer of the Chicago blues sound, Guy has racked up dozens of awards and accolades during his lengthy, influential career, including six Grammy Awards, Kennedy Center honors and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He’s listed as No. 30 on the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” by Rolling Stone magazine.

Guy is currently touring in support of his 27th studio album “Rhythm and Blues,” released this summer, which features collaborations with A-list artists including Kid Rock, Keith Urban and Aerosmith members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.

Guy is slated to perform Nov. 6 at the Cohan Center in San Luis Obispo. Opening for the blues icon is his protégé, 14-year-old guitar prodigy Quinn Sullivan.
