RISE, formerly the North County Women’s Shelter and Sexual Assault Recovery & Prevention Center, will hold its Ninth Annual Evening with an Artist on Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 at Greengate Ranch in Edna Valley.

The evening will feature expositions by local artists, as well as a silent auction and raffle for a weekend stay in Mammoth, according to a news release. It will be centered around “various artistic talents,” with original paintings by Laurel Sherrie, jewelry by The Gold Concept, silk scarves by Sharon Gellerman and live music. Several San Luis Obispo restaurants and caterers will provide appetizers and refreshments.

Tickets are $45 and are available by calling 805-226-5400 or visiting RISEslo.org. Raffle tickets can be purchased through the RISE office for $10.

All proceeds go toward providing services to those affected by sexual assault or abuse and intimate partner violence in San Luis Obispo County.
