Correction: An earlier version of this story gave the wrong date for Coastal Christian's groundbreaking ceremony; it's scheduled for Nov. 3.

Coastal Christian School in Arroyo Grande will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at its new campus in Pismo Beach on Nov. 3.

The school plans to relocate to the new site, a 27-acre property on Oak Park Boulevard near the intersection of James Way, next fall, according to a news release.

Coastal Christian has owned the property since it was donated in 1977 but has not been able to develop the property until now, according to the release.

The groundbreaking will take place at 1:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
