Nathaniel Harris scored on a 5-yard run in overtime for the Paso Robles High football team Friday night to snap Kingsburg’s 33-game home winning streak, as the Bearcats won 28-21.

The Vikings (5-1) had not lost in the stadium that was built in 2008 and had a chance to send the game to a second overtime after the Bearcats (5-1) scored on their possession. Kingsburg had the ball at the 15-yard line on fourth down and had an open receiver in the end zone, but the pass was dropped and the Bearcats held on.

Bailey Gaither had a 99-yard touchdown reception on third down on the Bearcats’ third offensive play of the game from Gunnar Griffin. Gaither caught the ball around midfield

behind the defense and outran the Vikings defense to put Paso Robles up 6-0 before they missed the ensuing extra-point attempt.

Paso Robles had a chance to win it in regulation, but a 47-yard field goal hit the post three-quarters of the way up and bounced back.
