Detectives make drug bust at San Luis Obispo home

Heroin, cocaine, Ecstacy and concentrated marijuana were found in Felton Street house

Detectives from the Special Enforcement Team of the San Luis Obispo Police Department arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of possession of heroin for sale and other drugs at a Felton Street home on Friday.

Jonathan Jose Esguerra was booked into county jail on charges of possession of heroin for sale, possession of cocaine, possession of concentrated cannabis, possession of MDMA (Ecstasy) and possession of a dangerous weapon, which was brass knuckles. Bail was set at $50,000, according to a news release.

Esguerra was arrested at about 11 a.m. after detectives served a search warrant at the home following an extensive investigation. The amount of heroin, about one pound, is worth about $46,000 on the street, the release said. Along with the narcotics, $12,500 in cash was found that is believed to be proceeds from the sale of heroin.
