Morro BayOctober 9, 2013

The effort to recall Jamie Irons shows clearly that the decision Morro Bay voters made resoundingly last June was correct: It’s time for a change in the way business is done in our city.

When former elected officials lead an effort to recall a sitting mayor, doesn’t that seem like a pretty desperate attempt to grab back power that the citizens put in someone else’s hands? If you can’t get your favored candidates elected, you fabricate scenarios and bully the people who were elected to get what you want?

Morro Bay voters, don’t be fooled.
