Every day I read in The Tribune about another large project being either proposed or coming up for review. When are people going to understand that without adequate water there can be no projects, new or otherwise? I am astonished that Paso Robles would continue to consider projects that may have once been included into future water use but wasnt that based on old projections? We now know those projections are not accurate.
Come on, people. Without water for those already living here, and wells continuing to go dry, how can future hotel projects, vineyards and private homes continue to be built? I suggest a total moratorium be put in place until such time as there is adequate water for what already exists, much less what doesnt.
