Morro Bay mistake

Morro BayOctober 4, 2013

Never in the history of the city of Morro Bay have so few people caused so much harm in such a short amount of time as Mayor Jamie Irons, and council members Noah Smukler and Christine Johnson.

At a time when Morro Bay is starting work on the city’s largest capital project, they have decided to spend up to $12,500 on legal fees to help them understand the way to get rid of the most experienced and knowledgeable employees the city has, and divide the community.

In the meantime, they have increased residential and commercial building impact fees and are contemplating raising sales taxes, bed taxes and utility taxes. This is on top of a proposed sewer rate increase.

If you are on a fixed income, hard times are coming to Morro Bay. The election of Irons, Smukler and Christine Johnson has proven to be a very expensive mistake indeed.
