Sheriff's Office releases sketch of man found dead in Nipomo

The Sheriff's Office has released this sketch of a man whose body was found near Division Street and Oso Flaco Lake Road in Nipomo. Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying him.

San Luis Obispo County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the body of a homicide victim found in a ditch in the area of Division Street and Oso Flaco Lake Road in rural Nipomo on Sept. 17.

The victim is described as a Hispanic male, in his early 20s to mid-30s, with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 165 pounds. He was wearing red and black Nike Air Jordan tennis shoes and a Lady of Guadalupe medallion.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 781-4550 or leave information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP (7867). A tip can also be sent by text message to Crime Stoppers by texting SLOTIPS plus your message to CRIMES (274637) or by visiting the website slotips.org.
