Up to 350 cyclists will be riding through Templeton on Saturday during the 12th annual Templeton Wine and Roses Bike Ride.

Hosted by the Templeton Chamber of Commerce, the three-route ride is the local business organization’s largest event and attracts cyclists from around California, according to a news release.

The start and finish line is at Templeton Community Park. Cyclists can choose from the classic 30-Mile Ride, the 62-Mile Metric Century and 100-Mile Century Ride.

The routes wind along the country roads of the North County, both east and west of Highway 101, from Creston to Nacimiento Lake, the news release says.

As of Tuesday, about 200 riders had already signed up, organizers told The Tribune.

Registration is $65 per rider at Wild Horse Winery and beer from Firestone Walker Brewing Co. Female cyclists also get a rose.
