Morro Bay football team falls to Lompoc

The Morro Bay High football gave up a touchdown on the opening kickoff and the rout was on as the Pirates fell to Lompoc 49-7 on Friday night.

Morro Bay’s (2-3, 0-1) only score of the night was a 10-yard pass to Zach Smith from Dan Beavers.  

Tristan Collins rushed for 75 yards on 13 carries, including a 47-yard run in the second quarter for Morro Bay.
