Needed program

Paso RoblesSeptember 27, 2013

I was just listening to the news, and there was a story about the possibility that Congress is going to cut the budget for people who receive food stamps.

Is anybody in Washington listening to the cries for help from people that legitimately need assistance to buy food, or provide housing, or adequate health care? Everywhere I turn someone is asking for help in one way or another, but what does Congress want to do? It wants to cut the budget for food stamps.

Let’s be honest: The food stamp system is not perfect, but it is needed. Let your voice be heard in Washington, but more than that, pray. Because in reality, the only one that can comfort and provide what we need is the Lord!
