The Paso Robles Ordinance Code 8.16.010 states: No person shall allow or permit animals to trespass upon the property of another. Yet many cat owners seem to consider it their right to let their cats roam wherever the beasts like, pooping, digging, stinking up and making a mess of and in neighbors yards even when the neighbors are several streets away.
The pooping miscreants are clearly not indoor cats that use cat boxes, and their scofflaw owners dont care about other peoples rights. Some homeowners reach a state of near despair because their hitherto beautiful yards achieved through hours, weeks and years of hard work have to be covered with wire, stones and other barriers. Those fortifications create great expense and additional toil for the discouraged owners of the targeted yards.
So, if youre a cat owner in whatever area especially if youre new to the neighborhood and dont keep your cat in your own yard, you dont have to wonder why your neighbor looks at you with such anger and loathing. Keep your cats on your own property.
