A woman was not injured after her car went off a cliff along Highway 1 in San Simeon on Saturday night.

The woman was driving in the area of Ragged Point Inn about 8:15 p.m. when her car went off the roadway for unknown reasons, according to CHP dispatch. The CHP did not identify the driver.

The car was suspended about 20 to 30 feet below the cliff at San Carpoforo Creek. The driver climbed out of the car to get help, the CHP said.

The car was left on the cliff face overnight and was recovered about 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the CHP said.
