An attic fire at an Atascadero AM/PM convenience store Saturday caused about $50,000 worth of damage, according to an Atascadero Fire Department news release.

The AM/PM at 6100 San Anselmo Road had “moderate fire and smoke conditions coming from the roof of the structure,” when firefighters arrived at 11:20 a.m., according to the news release.
