A San Luis Obispo man was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing injuries and felony hit and run after allegedly hitting two parked vehicles on North Tassajara Drive just before midnight Friday.

Nicolas Martinez, 21, was booked into County Jail and bail was set at $100,000, according to a San Luis Obispo Police news release. The passenger in his vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, treated and released.

The incident began when police received a call late Friday about a collision in the 100 block of North Tassajara and found an unoccupied 2004 Cadillac SUV with front end damage. The occupants fled on foot and police found fresh blood in and around the vehicle.

The arresting officer found Martinez and the passenger nearby, as well as two parked vehicles that Martinez allegedly struck. Police said Martinez was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
