Prep Roundup: SLO High girls tennis team tops San Marcos

O'Brien sweeps in singles, leads Tigers to 11-7 victory

The San Luis Obispo High girls tennis team beat San Marcos 11-7 on Friday afternoon.

Maya O’Brien led the Tigers (6-2) in singles, sweeping her matches 6-2, 6-1, 6-0. Maia Hoffman won 6-0, 6-4, 5-7, and Annalise Lippold won 6-0, 6-2, 3-6.

The doubles team of Ivee Collins and Caroline Burke won 6-0, 6-2, 1-6, and Anna Quagliariello and Gabby Garza won 6-3, 6-4, 2-6.

Templeton goes 0-3 at Saugus tourney

The Templeton High girls volleyball team went 0-3 on the first day of the Saugus Tournament.

Templeton lost 2-0 to Alta Loma and Frontier before a 2-1 loss to Canyon.

Set scores for each match were not provided to The Tribune.

Mission Prep volleyball wins

Noelle Laird had 11 kills, and Rachel Hindmarsh had nine kills as the Mission Prep girls volleyball team downed Dunn 25-15, 25-15, 25-17.

Bella Casola had seven digs for Mission Prep (5-2).
