The Arroyo Grande Police Department is providing an email address for recent victims of theft or burglary in South County to inquire about recovery of their goods.

Approximately 600 items have been recovered that are believed to have been stolen during the past several months, according to police. The suspected stolen property includes power tools, hand tools, tool bags, toolboxes, bicycles, laptop computers, various electronics, TVs, tablet computers, iPads, cell phones, digital cameras, video equipment, sporting equipment, sound equipment and other items commonly found in vehicles or residences.

Victims can e-mail and provide a detailed description of the items, such as make, model, color, serial number, theft report number, police agency and other unique identifiers such as numbers or scratches.

Victims must include their name, address and phone number so that the Arroyo Grande Police Department can contact them if the item is located.
