Atascadero police are looking for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint Sunday morning.

The suspect, described as a white male with an English accent wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, entered the business at 8000 El Camino Real about 6:17 a.m., pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at employees and demanded money from the cash registers, according to a news release from the Atascadero Police Department.

The man, who was about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 and between 200 and 250 pounds, then exited the business and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the news release. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with any information on the suspect or incident is asked to contact the Atascadero Police Department Investigation Unit at 805-461-5051.

The 7-Eleven at 8000 El Camino Real was also robbed in June. Three men were arrested in connection with that armed robbery.
