Bombing will add to destruction

San Luis ObispoSeptember 15, 2013

The U.S. has been involved in so many other country’s civil war crises. The 1980 book, “Salvador Witness,” tells of that country’s civil strife where agents of a foreign government murdered Americans and massacred 35,000 or more of their own citizens. Even though protested, this foreign government owed its existence to economic and military support by the U.S. government.

We send $1.5 billion a year to Egypt of which $1.3 billion is military aid. Why does the U.S. keep this aid going year after year?

Most of us do not approve of a military, political or religious group killing their own people, but our country is involved in these acts by sending billions of dollars and military aid that is used by those leaders to kill their own people by death or destruction of their lives and homes.

The proposed bombing of Syria will aid this destruction. I cannot humanistically understand the purpose of this bombing or military aid that keeps promoting civil war.
