Arroyo Grande shuts out Templeton in football

The Arroyo Grande High football team forced four Templeton turnovers and did not allow Templeton to cross the 50-yard line in a 49-0 nonleague win Friday night.

Arroyo Grande (2-1) quarterback Mikey Gutierrez had a 15-yard touchdown scramble and an 8-yard touchdown pass to Casey Muth. Bradley Mickey had a 53-yard punt return for a touchdown, Jordan Harrigan and Michael Jordano each had a 5-yard touchdown run and Austin Tyreman had an 8-yard rushing score.

Arroyo Grande did have two turnovers, including a fumble at the Templeton goal line. Arroyo Grande led 21-0 at halftime.
