The San Luis Obispo High volleyball team beat Santa Ynez 20-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-21 Thursday night in San Luis Obispo behind Holland Boege and Kaitlyn Kimball, who had 11 kills apiece for the Tigers.
Molly Maguire had nine kills and six blocks for San Luis Obispo, and Paige Cohune had 11 digs for the Tigers.
Paso Robles 3, Cabrillo 2
In a back-and-forth match, the Bearcats held off the Conquistadors 22-25, 25-21, 25-22, 3-25, 15-7.
Maddi Chace led Paso Robles (3-0) with 13 kills, five digs and three aces. Abi Venturini had seven kills, four digs and three blocks, and Lexi Kuehl had 11 digs for the Bearcats.
Atascadero 3, Lompoc 0
Kaylie Griffin, Kathryn Sedley and Chandler Haskell all had six kills for the Greyhounds, and Haskell added nine digs in the 25-21, 25-15, 25-16 sweep over the Braves.
Sabrina Degnan had 16 digs, and Maren Cracknell had five kills for Atascadero (3-1).
Frontier 3, Arroyo Grande 0
The Rockets swept the Eagles 25-21, 25-19, 25-14.
Megan McGuigan led Arroyo Grande (2-2) with seven kills and five aces. Ashlyn Herlihy also had seven kills and four blocks and Kacee Fox had 17 digs.
Templeton 3, St. Joseph 0
Sophomore Lauren Ralston led the Eagles with 12 aces, 10 kills, six digs and three blocks, as Templeton swept the Knights 25-21, 25-15, 25-16.
Autumn Russell had nine kills and three blocks, and Josi Kelly had 15 assists, three aces and four digs for Templeton (4-0). Mari Stewart had six kills and Marissa Torres each had 15 digs.
Mission Prep 3, Coast Union 0
Rachel Hindmarsh led the Royals with 13 kills as Mission Prep swept the Broncos 25-7, 25-18, 25-18.
Sammi Atwal had 12 digs for the Royals (3-1), and Sarah Reed had five kills.
Itzel Saavedra had five kills and 10 digs for Coast Union (1-3). Sage Radecki had 13 assists, and Cristina Plasencia had 23 digs.

The Tigers won their PAC 7 opener as Annaliese Lippold swept 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 for San Luis Obispo in singles
Maya O’Brien won her singles sets 6-2, 6-1, 6-0, and the doubles team of Lauren Hutkin and Caroline Burke won their sets 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 for the Tigers (3-2). Ivee Collins and Sami Good won 6-1, 6-0, 6-0.
Arroyo Grande 14, St. Joseph 4
Lauren Hayashi led the Eagles by sweeping 6-1, 6-0, 6-0 in singles.
Hannah Angle won 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3), and Joanne Phung and Angelica Gagliano swept their sets 6-3, 6-1, 6-1 for Arroyo Grande (2-1, 1-0 PAC 7).
Righetti 11, Paso Robles 7
The Bearcats (3-1) lost their PAC 7 opener at Righetti despite Maddie Berry winning 0-6, 7-5, 6-3 and Lindsey Horst winning 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 in singles.
Templeton 15, Morro Bay 3
The doubles team of Claire Vogel and Katrina Siems won 6-4, 6-1, 4-6 for Morro Bay (1-2, 0-1 Los Padres League).

Kelly Barrett swept 6-1, 6-0, 6-3 for the Titans.
Kelly Springford won her two sets 6-0, 6-1 for Nipomo (2-2). Mikayla Costello and Sydney Roberts won 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 in doubles.
Melissa Mathieson led Coast Union (0-3), winning 1-6, 6-1, 6-2. The Coast Union doubles team of Renee Johnson and Michelle Campos won one set for the Broncos’ other point.

Tessa Oates was the medalist for Arroyo Grande with a 7-over 42 on the front nine at the Morro Bay Golf Course.
Kinsey McBryde shot a 48, and Rachel Harris shot a 51 for the Eagles (4-0), who set a team season best by 17 strokes. Victoria Maretti shot a 53 and Jade Bewley shot a 56.
Jamie James led the Pirates (1-2) with a 51.
San Luis Obispo 254, Santa Ynez 273
Neha Sikand of San Luis Obispo was the medalist with a 2-over 38 on the front nine at the Alisal River Course in Solvang.
Lisa Figueroa shot a 46, Avery Martin shot a 52 and Bee Soll shot a 55 for the Tigers (4-0).
Jinai Jones led Santa Ynez with a 50.
Nipomo 258, Atascadero 303
Nipomo’s Christine DeLaby was the medalist with a 7-over 43 on the front nine at Monarch Dunes Golf Course in Nipomo.
Erin Shusterich shot a 48, Ashley Ruiz shot a 49 and Paige Johnson shot a 53 for the Titans (2-2).
Mckenzi Etchison shot a 45 for the Greyhounds.
BOYS WATER POLO
Santa Ynez 13, Paso Robles 11
Daniel Maloney led the Bearcats with four goals, but Paso Robles fell in the back-and-forth game.
The score was tied at 9 in the fourth period when Santa Ynez scored with 4:09 left to take a 10-9 lead. Paso Robles called timeout. During the ensuing play, the Bearcats had a shot that hit the post and ricocheted out. Santa Ynez scored on the counterattack and added a key insurance goal.
Isaiah Baker had three goals, Mitchell Iunker had two goals and Tyler Vallejos and Matt Dodds each had one for Paso Robles (3-3). Gabe Hindley had 13 saves.
