Why so anti-Ant?

Austin, TexasSeptember 8, 2013

Why the mean-spirited description of Adam Ant’s upcoming show in the Sept. 5 article? My goodness, I’ve never seen someone pile so much negativity into one little blurb about a performer. It reads more like a “warning” than an invitational description for an upcoming concert.

Seriously, step back, and read it again; it’s unnecessarily negative and focuses almost solely on the ugly. Not even a tiny mention of any of his ’80s hits (“Goody Two Shoes,” “Antmusic,” “Stand and Deliver”) nor a single word about his newly released album after 17 years on hiatus, just the negative dirt on the man. How very odd for an “upcoming events” page.
