A small fire broke out in the employee break room of a large plastic bag manufacturing plant in Paso Robles on Wednesday night.

The Paso Robles Fire Department was called to the fire at Lindamar Industries, 1603 Commerce Way, at 9 p.m. Wednesday. The fire, which was somewhat contained by fire sprinklers, was quickly extinguished.

The business was staffed by several night-shift employees at the time of the fire, and all employees safely evacuated prior to the firefighters’ arrival, according to a news release from the Fire Department.

The cause of the fire and amount of damage is still being investigated.
