Clarification: An earlier version of this story should have made clear that the open house will offer free coffee and muffins, not a full breakfast.

The Partnership for the Children of San Luis Obispo County will host an open house Sept. 12 for Tolosa Children’s Dental Center, formerly La Clinica de Tolosa. The open house will commemorate the nonprofit children’s dental office’s 10 years of business, as well as its new name.

The center is also extending coverage of existing patients to the age of 16, or until high school graduation, according to a news release. The center provides dentistry for low-income uninsured or underinsured families.

The open house will be at 717 Walnut Drive in Paso Robles from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. It will include tours, free coffee and muffins, and a ceremony recognizing Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian and dentist Jac Pedersen, who were instrumental in the office’s opening a decade ago, according to the release.
