On Tuesday, the Paso Robles Police Department Community Volunteer Patrol Program will host an orientation program starting at 6 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center, 900 Park St.

The program will provide participants with an overview of both the police department and the volunteer patrol program. The orientation is the first step in becoming a member of the program.

Members of the patrol assist the police department in a variety of activities. To sign up for the orientation, call Lynn Rogers at 400-7795 or David Padolsky at 423-5772.
