Think carefully

Paso RoblesAugust 18, 2013

My husband and I visited Paso Robles for 33 years and, upon retiring, were thrilled to realize our dream of living here.

Everything we spent our lives working and saving for is now at risk. A home is the biggest investment and asset most people have. Being on a fixed income, we cannot afford to drill another well. And we can’t afford an unfair decision to devalue our property to the point where it’s worthless.

To the Board of Supervisors: Please think this over carefully. Make a decision that is as fair to all the homeowners as it will be to the wineries. We want to, and can, co-exist in harmony if this is done right.

As a final thought, please think about how you would view this situation if your home, your property and your lives were on the line the way it is for all of us out here. Please consider that when making decisions regarding this life-changing issue.
